This policy explains what information Jimmy Lee Jordan Band collects through jimmyleejordan.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Booking for the band is handled by Outlaw Grit Records, so booking information may be shared with them.
The short version
- We only collect what you choose to give us, plus basic site data.
- We never sell your information.
- You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information at any time.
What we collect
- JLJB Nation email list. When you sign up, we collect your email address so we can send show dates, new music and merch news.
- Booking offers and questions. When you use our Submit an Offer form, we collect your name, title, venue or company, phone, email and the event details you enter (date, city, times, budget and notes).
- Messages you send us. If you email, call or text us, we keep what you send so we can answer and follow up.
- Chat with Cletus. If you use the “Ask Cletus” chat, the questions you type are sent to our chat service so it can answer. Please don’t type passwords, payment details or other sensitive information into the chat.
- Store orders. When you buy merch, you give your name, shipping address, email and payment details at checkout. Payments are handled by our store and its payment processors, and orders may be printed and shipped by our merch partner. We never see or store your full card number.
- Show alerts. If you tap Follow, Set Reminder or Request a Show, you sign up directly with Bandsintown, under Bandsintown’s own privacy policy. Bandsintown may share fan contact details with the artist.
- Basic site data. Like most websites, our site host and embedded services (such as YouTube videos, Bandsintown and review widgets) may automatically collect technical information such as your browser, device, pages visited and IP address, and may use cookies.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and booking offers, send contracts and plan shows.
- To send JLJB Nation emails you signed up for.
- To process, ship and support your merch orders.
- To keep the site working, safe and free of spam.
- To understand, in general, how people use the site so we can improve it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with services that help us run the site and our shows:
- Our website host (Bandzoogle) for the site, email list and store.
- The database we use to receive booking offers (Airtable).
- Bandsintown, for show alerts you sign up for.
- Our chat service, for messages sent to Cletus.
- Payment processors and our print-on-demand merch partner, to complete your order.
- Anyone we are required to share with by law, or to protect our rights, our fans or the public.
Those services have their own privacy policies and may only use your information to provide their service.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any JLJB Nation email.
- See, correct or delete the information we have about you by emailing us.
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some site features may not work without them.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, such as keeping booking records for our business and tax records, or until you ask us to delete it where the law allows.
Security
We use reputable service providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or online service can be completely secure.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
